Banda Aceh (20/12) 2022, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the University of Syiah Kuala gave awards to outstanding research centers at USK. On the USK awarding night Friday 16 December 2022 at the AAC Dayan Dawood Darussalam Auditorium, the award was handed over by the Rector of Syiah Kuala University.

Dr. Sulastri as the Secretary of LPPM at Syiah Kuala University said that every year LPPM gives awards to research centers that have achievements within  Syiah Kuala University Dr. Sulastri also said that there were 6 research centers that succeeded in obtaining A accreditation and there were 7 research centers that received category B and furthermore these research centers that achieved not only received certificates but also received assignment research incentives from LPPM USK.

The Research Center for Marine and Fisheries Syiah Kuala University (PRKP USK) itself managed to get B accreditation from the Syiah Kuala University where the previous year PRKP USK still had C accreditation. As for the increase in accreditation, PRKP USK has become one of the outstanding research centers.

6. Marine Science and Fisheries
